BREC-LSU-BRAS Highland Road Park Observatory, hosts Winter Rocket Camp; on December 26 and 27, from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. (Ages 9-13). Parents can bring their children as early as 7:30 a.m. and pick up children as late as 1:30 p.m. for no additional charge. Children will build and fly two rockets (materials supplied). Children will need to bring sack lunch and drink that does not require refrigeration. They will also need to bring a hat and sunscreen. Limit 30 children. Call 768-9948 for more information.
