BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo invites family and friends to participate in this all-day event. It will feature animal and earth-friendly activities for the whole family. The Safari Amphitheater will highlight educational programs, including tips on how you can “go green,” as well as information on the Zoo’s Year of the Frog campaign and the worldwide amphibian crisis. The local chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK) will also sponsor a plant sale. Proceeds from the plant sale will contribute to AAZK's conservation projects, including the snow leopard.
