Besides races, plans are underway for a kid’s area and a live music stage Saturday & Sunday. The free to the public weekend music line up includes local entertainers, “De’Ja’Vu” on Saturday and “Vince Anthony and the Blue Notes” on Sunday, both at approximately 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM.The kid’s area will include a new theme this year with The Pirate “Captain Papillion” presenting scheduled shows on Saturday and Sunday to include tattoos, balloon art, stories, musical instruments and games as well as a children’s parade schedule to begin at 9:00 on Sunday. Children are invited to decorate their wagons for a decorating contest. Another first for the festival’s kid’s area is a “Coloring Contest”.
