The Livingston Ensemble, LIVE!, a newly formed theater group will hold auditions for summer performances of two children's plays. LIVE! organizers announced that the group had selected "Porridge Gate" by Charlie Lovett for performances on July 15-16. Auditions are open to children age 6-12 years old and prior acting experience is not required. Auditions for children age 6-9 years old will be from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Auditions for children age 10-12 years old will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Casting will be announced between 7:30 pm and 8 pm. Auditions are open to all children. They will be conducted by Heather Pyle, a theater major at Southeastern Louisiana University. Organizers also invited anyone interested in being a part of the new theater effort to attend the auditions or volunteer through the email address.
