50th annual Volunteer Firemen's Parade rolls through Addis

ADDIS, LA (FOX44) - Sunday, the Addis Volunteer Fire Department honored a tradition 50 years in the making.

The Addis Volunteer Fire Department rolled through Downtown Addis Sunday morning in a parade that dates back to 1963, when the town recieved their first fire truck.

Fire departments from all over West Baton Rouge parish came out to throw beads, and bring smiles to kids and parents alike.

The Parade also featured King Trey Goodwin & Queen Mona Patterson.
