BATON ROUGE,La (WGMB) - Hawker Beechcraft - a small airplace manufacturer - could be one step closer to moving their entire operation from Kansas to Baton Rouge.
In a flyer released to members over the weekend - the International Union of Machinists says the company has agreed to accept an offer from Louisiana.
In Kansas - leaders of Hawker Beechcraft will meet with Governor Mark Parkinson Tuesday to try and stop the deal from happening.
Here in Louisiana - people close to any deal are being very tight lipped. FOX News Baton Rouge News has learned as many as 6000 jobs would move to Baton Rouge if the deal goes through.
