Alexandria man arrested for Internet crimes against children

ALEXANDRIA, LA — An Alexandria man has been arrested and charged with violating Louisiana Revised Statutes against Internet crimes involving juveniles, announced Attorney General Buddy Caldwell.

Kristopherson H. Pitre, 35, of 7 Reynolds Road, was arrested Tuesday as a result of a joint investigation involving the Attorney General’s High Technology Crime Unit, Alexandria City Police, and the Rapides Parish Sheriff`s Office.

Pitre’s chat with an undercover agent led to the execution of a search warrant at his residence. Agents charged Pitre with violating Louisiana Revised Statutes against pornography involving juveniles, indecent behavior with juveniles, and computer- aided solicitation of a minor.

Pitre was booked into the Rapides Parish Prison without further incident.
