Alleged meth lab explosion leaves Prairieville residents shocked
PRAIRIEVILLE, LA (FOX44) - — Three people are now under arrest after an alleged meth lab explosion.
It happened to a home on the 41000 block of Waterstone Drive. The homeowner Clinton John Auzenne, Jr. along with David Lee Harris and Megan Gaspard were arrested on simple arson and creating and operating a clandestine lab charges.
Julie Day lives near the explosion and says she is shocked this happened in Prairieville, "It's overwhelming when our kids, our young kids are right here. That you have to experience that close to us you know. When we initially bought in this area, we thought it was one of the better, nicer areas to live and then to think that this is right in our back doors you know."
Nobody was hurt during the fire. It caused more than $180,000 worth of damage to the home.
