BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) — Jeffrey Lee Guillory is trying to get statements tossed out as evidence.

Those statements could be used in an upcoming trial.

A judge will make a ruling later this month.

Guillory has been convicted in the 2004 murder of Donna Bennett Johnson and charged in the murder of Renee Newman. That happened back in 2002.
