CONEY ISLAND, Ny (FOX44) - We can't leave out the massive Fourth of July celebration over on Coney Island, where the reigning hot dog eating champ chomped his way to the top once again, his fifth title in a row.

Every year on this holiday, competitors eat as many hot dogs as they can in 10 minutes.

This year, Chestnut was the big winner, but he didn't shove enough down to break his own record of 68 back in 2009.
Chestnut won ten-thousand dollars for his feat.

Also winning ten grand, Sonya Thomas, in the contests' first ever, ladies division.

Thomas stuffed 40 hotdogs into that tiny little frame.
