Arrest made in River Road homicide
BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — Homicide detectives with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office have made an arrest in the death of a women found on River Road over the weekend.
Warren Slan, 43, is locked up and charged with Second Degree Murder.
Tiffany Degazon, 33, was found dead on the side of South River Road in Baton Rouge on Sautrday. Deputies say Degazon was evicted from her residence the night before. A witness says she was last seen walking into Slan's residence under the influence of drugs.
Slan was questioned by Violent Crime Unit Detectives last night, then taken into custody. Deputies say he was't able to give an explanation as to why his DNA was found on Degazon's remains.
Deputies say the investigation is continuing.
