AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Australia, Yasi's dangerous winds uprooted trees, tore roofs from buildings and pulled down power lines. Thousands of people were evacuated before the storm hit. Officials warned residents, that emergency crews wouldn't be able to respond to calls for help. No reports of deaths or even "severe" damage yet.

Egypt – The fighting continues with thousands battling in Cairo’s main square all day. They are using rocks, bottles, and Molotov cocktails. President Mubarak says he won’t run for re-election but his opponents want him out now.

India – Many people were lined up to buy 2011 Cricket World Cup tickets and the wall they were all leaning on came crashing down. The incident didn't turn anyone away, the event kicks off February 19.

China – Let the celebrations begin. Revelers are getting ready for the year of the rabbit, which officially starts tomorrow. Along with the partying, families also clean their homes, to sweep away bad luck and welcome in good fortune.

Germany – A cross-eyed possum named Heidi could become an even bigger star. She has actually gotten an invitation to appear in the Academy awards this month. Heidi’s claim to fame is her eyes. Experts think they could be from a poor diet in her younger years.
