Babysitter, two kids victims of home invasion

NEW ORLEANS, LA (FOX8) - A woman and two children were the victims of a home invasion Wednesday afternoon, police say.

According to police, the home invasion happened in the 7400 block of Scottsdale Street in New Orleans East about 1:45pm.

Police say three men armed with guns entered the home through a kitchen window. One of the suspects put a gun to one of the children's chest and asked for a man by name. That man was not in the home.

The three suspects ransacked the home, then fled. They are still on the loose.

No one was injured.

One suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 years old. He was wearing a red shirt with blue jeans. He has long dreadlocks.

The second suspect is a black male, 20-22 years-old with a stocky build. He was wearing a white tank top, jeans, and a blue jacket.

The third suspect is also a black male, 28-33 years-old. Police say he is very tall and has dreadlocks. He was wearing white jeans and a red shirt.
