Saturday, Irish eyes were smiling at international films during the Baton Rouge Irish Film Festival.
It wasn't just great films that were shown. There were great musical, and dancing acts as well.
It's all part of a tradition that's three years in the making.
Organizers say they hope it'll get bigger and bigger as the festival stays in Baton Rouge.
"The hope eventually is, that this becomes a major film festival such as in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, as far as Irish film festivals, they'll be movie stars and producers coming in. " -said Alan Kinney, the first Co-Chair of the Baton Rouge Irish Film Festival
