BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - In Baton Rouge, Beauregard Town residents kick off their sixth annual Walking Parade today.
In this parade, people can join in however they like: on foot, bicycles, and peddle powered floats. They also encouraged people to throw them some food so they can donate it to the Baton Rouge Food Bank.
People that live close to Beauregard Town say the parade just keeps getting bigger.
"As time will tell, this parade will grow and grow and grow, people in Baton Rouge need a good parade. We've had some good parades, we've got more throughout the years, and now we have one on Mardi Gras Day," said Parade Goer, Ken Pastorick.
