AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – Bolivia, a guy was released out of his wooden prison tonight only because police forced his father to release him. Apparently his dad was angry at his son for stealing some chickens. The poor guy was forced to eat, sleep, and use the restroom there for 8-weeks. Even in Bolivia that is definitely against the law.

China – One person's nightmare is this village's norm here. That's because these people raise snakes for a living. About 160-families here breed more than 3-million snakes including cobras, vipers, and pythons. The snakes are sold for food and are used in traditional Chinese medicine.

United States – People at the University of Connecticut are lining up to inhale the fragrance of the "corpse flower." It smells like rotten meat. The 12-foot plant is native to Sumatra and it’s only bloomed twice since the university planted the seed 17-years ago.

Estonia – Women are sprinting in high heels to win a pair. The stiletto race is actually taken very seriously. It is a 100-meter sprint to the finish line. This year’s winner is a long distance runner from the country's capital.

Ireland – An Irish guitar player has strummed his way into the world record books today. David Browne with the longest guitar playing session that lasted 114-hours and 20-minutes. He played more than 13-hundred tunes since starting on Sunday.
