BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - A couple of new faces were formally introduced at Baton Rouge Community College Thursday. Neil Hayhurst was welcomed in as the Athletic Director. Hayhust comes to the Capitol City from Marshalltown Community College in Iowa.

Also, Ricky Wilson, the newly hired men's basketball coach, took the podium in Baton Rouge for the first time. Wilson takes over the BRCC program after spending eight years as the assistant coach at Southern Mississippi.

Wilson is forced with the challenge of preparing his team in a hurry. The head coach has only been in Baton Rouge for a week and the first game of the season is set for Thursday Nov. 3.

"I told the kids we can be as good as we want to be if they listen and do the things we ask. We can move a lot faster if they do that. And so far they have been great. So I think everything will work out “coach WIlson said in an interview with FOX44 at the press conference.
