Celebrities help police
HOLLYWOOD HOOKUP (FOX44) – The locals call it carmeggeddon. A 10-mile stretch of the very busy 405-freeway will be closed next weekend. And the LAPD has turned to celebrities with large twitter accounts to urge their fans to avoid the area. Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, and Ashton Kutcher were asked to hit the social media sites. Kutcher did, hoping cops would return the favor by tossing out a traffic ticket he received.
– When it comes to Ms. Paris Hilton, some apparently prefer jail life over the simple life. James Rainford is the guy who attacked her ex outside court back in April. Well Paris' alleged stalker violated a restraining order again after he was found hanging outside her Malibu beach home. Rainford has told people he's dead set on marrying her.
– Charlie sheen is getting roasted. After a year of bizarre behavior the former "Two and a Half Men" star will be the star of comedy central's next roast. Sheen telling the cable network nothing will be off limits. The roast of Charlie Sheen will air on Comedy Central September 19.
– And word is one Jersey Shore cast member is fed up with all the fist-pumping. According to reports, Vinny is packing his bags and calling it quits from the reality TV show. We're told he had a falling out with another cast member and is headed back home to Staten Island. MTV hasn't commented yet.
