Celebrities poke fun at Charlie Sheen's rollercoaster year
CULVER, CA (FOX44) -- Hollywood's stars roasting the forty-six year-old actor Saturday night. Among sheen's many highlights in 2011: being fired from the hit show "Two and a Half Men." Then going on a public rant against the show's executives.
Stars telling us why it’s so easy to poke fun at Sheen.
"Charlie's a beautiful person,” Mike Tyson, former boxer, said about Sheen during the roast. “Nobody knows Charlie's a good guy. It is what it is. We're human beings. We like to have fun. This is our way of entertainment."
"What makes Charlie Sheen the perfect person to roast? If you pick up any newspaper six months ago, yeah I guess it has been six months - hookers, drugs, wall street," Seth MacFarlane, creator of the hit FOX show Family Guy, joked.
Sheen says he's done with his coined phrase, "winning" because he feels like he's already "won." The roast will air in "one week" on Comedy Central on Monday, Sept. 19.
