Celebs react to Dick Clark’s passing

HOLLYWOOD HOOKUP (FOX44) – Celebrities who worked with Dick Clark are reacting to the entertainer's death. After taping “American Idol” last night Ryan Seacreast stepped up to the cams and said; “He taught me how to do television. I studied him as a kid and I had the opportunity to work with him on New Years' Eve.” Flowers and a wreath were left the former “American Bandstand” host's Hollywood star. Dick Clark was 82-years-old.

– Eddie Van Halen tells "Esquire” magazine, that his father is partially responsible for his drinking problem. To help combat stage fright, Eddie’s dad would give him a shot of vodka and a cigarette.

– The Tupac Shakur hologram performance seen at Coachella Music Festival, may be hitting the road with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. The “Wall Street Journal” reports that logistics are being discussed.

– Axl Rose sent a second letter to the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, this time he thanked his fans and asked the city of Cleveland for forgiveness for skipping the induction ceremony for "Guns n' Roses".
