West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Mike Cazes says McClain swallowed pills before being arrested Friday. Cazes says it was a suicide attempt.

"After he started thinking about it and what they did I guess he wanted to end his life so he started to take the pills", says Cazes.

The two will be in court for an extradition hearing later this week. Once that happens, the pair could be on their way to Florida to face more serious charges.
