Christmas Tradition: The Twin Living Christmas Trees!

BATON ROUGE, La (WVLA) -- The biggest celebration of the season is the Twin Living Christmas Trees presented by  Jefferson Baptist Church December 3RD - 12TH . The production includes a 100 voice choir, full orchestra, drama, special effects and combines the best Christmas traditions with the real reason for the season.

Alan Shoumaker, Minister of Music, said: “This is our 14TH year for the Twin Trees and its totally different for 2010 with new drama and story line, new songs and even a new set and backdrop. We want each performance to be a blessing to folks of all ages and let it begin the Christmas season with joy and hope”!

The Twin Living Trees is unforgettable entertainment for the whole family with singing, a magical parade of Wooden
Soldiers, thousands of computerized lights on the twin trees and magnificent costumes.  Add to it the incredible arrangement of holiday favorites and new classics you’re sure to enjoy; and you’ll see why The Twin Living Christmas Trees continues to be a Baton Rouge tradition.

Performance schedule: Friday, December 3RD (7:00pm); Saturday, December 4TH (3:00pm and 7:00pm); Sunday, December 5TH (3:00pm); Friday , December 10TH (7:00pm); Saturday, December 11TH (3:00pm and 7:00pm) and Sunday, December 12TH (3:00pm). The church is located at 9135 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge.
