Coach Stump Mitchell talks about Saturday's game against UAPB

BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - Southern University Head Coach Stump Mitchell spoke out today for the first time since Saturday's loss and the big fight at Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Coach Mitchell says turnovers cost his team the game on Saturday.
He also says the Jags have thrown too many interceptions this season.
The jags have a bye this week.
Coach Mitchell and his staff will have an extra week to analyze what happened in Arkansas both before and after the game.

"We all have to take responsibility for our own actions, that's the bottom line, we're all held responsible for our actions. I'm the head coach, I'm responsible for how my players act, We have to try to control our tempers. In our game it was a very, very high, intense game and we just know that all parties involved in making decisions are making the right decisions." Southern Jags Head Coach Stump Mitchell, said.
