WASHINGTON, D.C. (FOX44) - Injured Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords made a surprise appearance in Washington on August, 1st.
Giffords took part in the debt limit vote in congress that afternoon.
Fellow lawmakers gave her several sustained ovations, and then came over to greet her after the vote concluded.
Giffords was smiling, waving, and enjoying the display of affection from her fellow lawmakers.
