CONSUMER ALERT: Chin strap recalled due to sharp edge causing deep cuts

More than half-a-million Under Armour football chin straps are being recalled.

The metal snap which connects the UA defender chin straps to the helmet has sharp edges, which can cut when the strap comes into contact with another player.

There are currenty six reports of injuries needing stitches.

The straps come in multiple colors, and were sold from 2008 until September.
