NATIONAL (FOX44) - Europe's deadly E coli outbreak has made its way to the U.S.
The dangerous strain has affected eleven countries, including the U.S. infecting some 16-hundred people.
Officials believe the epicenter of the disease is still the area around Hamburg in Northern Germany.
Most of the cases reported outside Germany concern either German Nationals traveling or persons who visited that part of Germany.
German authorities first blamed Spanish cucumbers for being the cause of outbreak, but now they don't know what's behind it.
