Dominique Strauss-Kahn, head of the International Monetary Fund, will remain in jail until his next court appearance.
That's the word from a New York courtroom today.
The 62 year old is accused of sexually assaulting a maid at a hotel.
If convicted, Strauss-Kahn who was a potential presidential candidate in France, faces up to 25 years in prison.
