NEW YORK CITY, Ny (FOX44) - The recently resigned IMF Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn has checked out of jail, and into luxury apartments in New York City.

Strauss-Kahn is accused of raping a maid at a hotel.

He posted a cash bail of one million dollars and also a five million dollar insurance bond.

As part of his release, Strauss-Kahn will be monitored under armed guard.
