With the crest of the Mississippi River set for tomorrow, the Department of Public Works says they're still keeping a very close eye on the levee.
The department has spent the last several weeks inspecting the entire levee system.
They look at the amount of water seeping from the levee onto area roads. DPW also keeps a very close eye on the newly installed Tiger Boom
Chief Engineer Jim Ferguson says, it's the only way to prevent problems from getting worse.
