Early Charlie Chaplin movie could fetch big money in London
GREAT BRITAIN (FOX44) - A previously unknown Charlie Chaplin film bought off an internet auction site for just a few dollars is set to go under the hammer at a London auction next week.
"Charlie Chaplin in Zepped'" is believed to be a propaganda film made in Britain during WWI. The film was discovered inside a battered old film reel tin.
Film collector Morace Park bought it for about five dollars on e-bay and showed it to a film expert to find out what it was.
It's now the earliest film known to combine real action sequences with animation, and the film is expected to fetch an estimated six-figures when it goes on sale June 29th.
