AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – England, a bomb threat shuts down areas surrounding London’s Buckingham Palace. Large parts of Central London have been sealed off following a bomb threat by an Irish militant group. Police say they got the warning but the info didn't have a specific time or place. The threat comes a day ahead of a planned visit by Queen Elizabeth to Ireland.

Israel – Amateur video just emerged of what's believed to be Palestinians crossing the border from Syria on Sunday. The people are doing it to protest the anniversary of the creation of Israel in 1948. This led to a violent series of clashes and four Palestinians were killed.

Sweden – Seventeen-hundred passengers are happy to be back from vacation, after their luxury cruise ship lost power in the Baltic Sea. They were stranded out there for days with no lights and no toilets.

Australia – An internet craze called "planking" turns deadly. Police say a 20-year-old man fell to his death from a balcony seven stories up. Plankers upload photos of themselves as they lay flat on their stomach in various and sometimes dangerous locations. "There’s a difference between a harmless bit of fun done somewhere that's really safe and taking a risk with your life.'

Mexico – Cowboy boots with long, pointy toes is a trend that looks like it could be dangerous. Shoemakers are having a hard time keeping up with the demand.

Norway – Two-hundred men spent the weekend showing off their facial hair in a serious competition. The U.S. was represented with 70-contestants. The U.S. took six gold medals but a man from Germany was the overall winner.
