BAKER, La (FOX44) — A third person has been arrested in conjunction with the 2011 murder case of Abelardo Pampo.
Kaitlin Brandon was arrested last night in Baton Rouge after a CrimeStoppers tip helped lead to her arrest.
Police tracked her movements from Houston to Baton Rouge. DNA evidence linked Brandon to the murder case.
Baker Police Chief Mike Knaps says who ever called in the tip did the city of Baker a great service.
"This is a very, very, hard-hearted person. A very crude person who has no care about life,” stated Knaps. “She doesn't care about life at all, so it's a good thing she's behind bars."
Brandon, along with 2 others, is accused of murdering Pampo outside the Baker Civic Center after robbing him.
