BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) — The Baton Rouge Fire Department is currently investigating a case of suspected arson.
The fire at a home on Snipe Ave. was reported on Sunday, May 27 shortly before 10:30 p.m.. When firefighters arrived the house was engulfed in flames and there was heavy smoke.
Investigators believe the fire was intentionally started at the rear of the home. They say that the fire burned over half of the home before it was put out and the rest of the home sustained heavy heat and smoke damage.
