Rapper supports former governor Edwin Edwards
BATON ROUGE, La (FOX44) -- A Fox44 employee, Karen Mire, wrote the song for Young KIdd Kidd. She liked the former governor so much, she wanted to put talk about it in a song. It focuses on the 83-year-old's release from prison less than a week ago, and his transition back into society. That's when she brought in Young Kidd Kid to lend his lyrical skills to making the song a reality.
"It's about him just coming home and him just getting a second chance really cause everybody makes mistakes, but its on what we do after learn from our mistakes and what we do after that," says Young Kidd Kidd of his song.
The song is only about 40 seconds long right now, but Kidd says he plans to make a full version by this weekend.
