France, Pakistan, India, Taiwan, Hungary

AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – France, leaders of the group of eight nations discussed the situation in Japan, following the devastating earthquake and tsunami. They also discussed the condition of the world’s economy and President Obama went over plans to build a missile defense shield in Europe. Russia doesn't like the plan.

Pakistan – A suicide car bomber blew himself up outside a police station over 20-people were killed. An additional 45-people are in critical condition, so death toll could rise. The Pakistani Taliban is warning of even more attacks to avenge the death of Osama Bin Laden.

India – An air ambulance fell out of the sky today. All seven aboard were killed and three dead on the ground. The plane landed on a house. Officials say the plane lost control during a dust storm.

Taiwan – Hundreds of thousands of sports drinks have been pulled from store shelves. This after, trace of a cancer causing chemicals were found inside. DEHP was found in a substance often added to drinks to make them look thicker. One hundred other companies are also recalling other products like jam and jelly after the discovery.

Hungary – Long live the king, Elvis Presley that is. A park in the country's capital has been named in his honor. He was also made an honorary citizen by councilmen. Mr. Presley is a hero to those people for expressing support to Hungary during the anti-soviet uprising back in the fifties.
