DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (FOX44) Messenger's Christmas Land is open, and it has a new attraction--"Bubbles" the baby camel!
The Messenger's Christmas Land began in 1964, by Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Messenger Jr. With just a few lights and home made animated scenes. The original location was in Red Oaks, Baton Rouge. It was an instant hit with the community, and 47 years later the Christmas display is still making people smile in its new location in Denham Springs.
Messenger's Christmasland boasts over 60,000 lights and 30 christmas scenes. It'll remain open through December 27. The attraction located at 25654 Plantation Avenue in Denham Springs is free and open to the public.
