BATON ROUGE, LA (FOX44) - Governor Bobby Jindal greeted National Guardsmen today on their way back from Afghanistan.
The 926th Mobility Augmentation Company arrived in at the Baton Rouge from a year long deployment supporting Operation "Enduring Freedom."
The primary goal of their outfit was to find car bombs and I.E.D's so supply lines would stay open.
Governor Jindal says the one thing these soldiers deserve more than anything is a thank you, for their service.
"These guys aren't looking for recognition, they're not looking for glory, they did it because they wanted to serve. It's important that we remember them and thank them, and we can do it everyday," said Governor Jindal.
