
HAMMOND, LA (FOX8) - A Hammond man faces extortion and possibly cyber stalking charges in at least 30 incidents that police say started on Facebook.
A young Hammond woman told police that Adam Kolb, 26, posed as a woman to befriend her on Facebook setting the stage for the alleged stalking and extortion.
Kolb is the man accused of stalking or extorting dozens of women.
One woman complained to police that he lured her in with lies on Facebook.
The woman admits they dated and were involved, but she says when she wanted to end it Kolb threatened to release sensitive pictures to her friends an family if she didn't do what he wanted.
Hammond Police say they picked him up Monday at his apartment at the the College Town complex in Hammond after a woman filed a complaint about him on Friday.
Since then, police say the investigation is uncovering a number of other women who claim they've been harassed by Kolb
