ST. TAMMANY PARISH, LA (FOX44) -- A traffic stop on I-12 put one man behind bars on drug charges.

State Police say Michael Madera-Torres, 30, had almost three pounds of heroin in his car. The traffic stop happened just before 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22 in St. Tammany Parish.

State Police say those drugs have a street value of $100,000.
