FLORIDA (FOX44) - History was made at Florida's Kennedy Space Center as
Atlantis roared off the pad on the space shuttle program's final launch.
It blasted off about two minutes late, but better late than never, because forecasters earlier this week didn't think the weather would hold up.
Hundreds of thousands of spectators watched her crew of four roar through the clouds on a planned 12-day mission...
They'll be re-supplying the International Space Station.
The program's first shuttle launched over 30 years ago.
