Hollywood Hookup: Katie Couric leaving CBS

HOLLYWOOD HOOKUP (FOX44) – In an interview posted on People Magazine's website, Katie Couric says she is leaving her anchor job at CBS but hasn't decided what she will do next. Couric has anchored the “Evening News" for almost five years. Her contract ends June 4 and word is Scott Pelley of "60 Minutes" will be her replacement.

– Flava Flav, the rapper turned reality TV star reportedly has cut ties with his business partner and closed the door on his restaurant in Iowa. Flav's partner has accused him of not running the business right. His employees say they haven't been paid. No word yet on what is going to happen to Flav's plans to open up shop in sin city.

– Seven years after making her National debut on American Idol, season two finalist Kimberly Caldwell is releasing her first album. "I knew this day would come and it’s definitely taken a little longer than I thought and I’m excited and I have no regrets" “No Regrets” is the name of her debut album. It’s on store shelves right now.

– Kristin Cavallari is going to be a football wife. People Magazine reports the MTV reality star is engaged to 27-year-old NFL player Jay Cutler. Twenty-four year old Cavallari and the Chicago Bears quarterback were engaged in Cabo San Lucas over the weekend. The couple has been dating since last fall.
