HOLLYWOOD HOOKUP (FOX44) – Meredith Vieira says she's leaving the "Today" show in June. She says she wants to spend more time with her husband and three kids. Vieira replaced Katie Couric five years ago. Ann curry will now replace her as host.
– Regis Philbin may be retiring, but not before he puts out a new book. He has a memoir coming out this fall. It will reflect on the 79-year-old's television career and will tell stories about celebrities. Philbin is calling the book a personal thank you to his fans.
– Singer Justin Bieber made his acting debut on "CSI" and now one of its stars says he's a brat. Actress Marg Helgenberger told a French radio show the singer was quote "kind of a brat." Beiber responded to that comment via twitter, "its kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind."
– Fans of the early years of American Idol have reason to celebrate today. Two of the show's most famous faces will reunite in a new show on FOX. Paula Abdul has signed on as a judge for "X-Factor". It is a singing competition that debuts in the fall. She'll be joined by fellow Idol alum Simon Cowell.
