Home invasion nets two arrests

Walker, LA (FOX44) — At approximately 10:45 p.m. on November 30, two men were apprehended for a home invasion robbery that occurred south of Walker.

Adam Hampton Blackwell, 20, was charged with five counts of Armed Robbery and Resisting an Officer. He is currently being held in the Livingston Parish Detention Center in lieu of a $250,000.00 bond. Authorities in Ascension Parish have placed a hold on him for similar charges there.

Matthew Calvin Morris, 22, was charged with five counts of Armed Robbery, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm with a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Resisting an Officer. He is currently being held in the Livingston Parish Detention Center in lieu of a $350,000.00 bond. Authorities in Ascension Parish have placed a hold on him for similar charges there. A hold has also been placed on him for violation of Probation and/or Parole.
