AROUND THE WORLD (FOX44) – India, a family of five was swept away from a popular picnic spot after a huge wave crashed down the river. The family tried to run to safety like everyone else but didn’t make it and was swept away with the current. Last we heard only three of the bodies have been recovered.

Canada – A concert festival had to be cancelled after the main stage collapsed. A violent storm came out of no where and a strong gust of wind knocked it down. More than a dozen people were hurt.

China – A bad break for beachgoers, green sea "and" sand. Algae are blanketing a coastal resort about 400-miles South of Beijing. Swimmers say it's not just messy, it's smelly. Plenty of people are still diving in though.

Greece – A wasted trip for tourists here, taxi drivers have gone on strike and they're blocking a main cruise port. One tourist said, "Very bad, we come from Australia to see and we can't see nothing. Not good, not coming back here.” What’s worse is the cabbies are blocking the streets, causing all kinds of traffic jams. They want the government to back off a plan to increase competition in their industry.

Australia – "The force" is with one man as he treks across the country for charity. A guy who's dressed up as a “Star Wars” stormtrooper started on a 125-mile journey a week ago. His goal is to raise $50,000 for a foundation that helps seriously ill kids.
