NATIONAL (FOX44) - Your chicken may have something added that you don't want.
The FDA says an ingredient in chicken feed called *Roxarsone* contains arsenic, a poison, and may end up in the bird itself.
Before now, it was thought the arsenic passed through the chicken in its waste.
However, the FDA says people do not need to stop eating chicken that may have been treated.
The FDA says “Roxarsone” is a carcinogen.
Roxarsone is being pulled off the market in the U.S.
