WGMB (BATON ROUGE) - It's election night in Louisiana, and Fox 44 News Baton Rouge is tracking election results.

Up for election tonight in a statewide election is the Lt. Governor's Office. You'll recall, Mitch Landrieu stepped down from the Lt. Governor position when he was elected Mayor of New Orleans.

On the ballot tonight:

James "Jim" Crowley, a Democrat from Shreveport

"Jay" Dardenne, a Republican from Baton Rouge

Kevin Davis, a Republican from Abita Springs

Caroline Fayard, a Democrat from New Orleans

"Butch" Gautreaux, a Democrat from Morgan City

"Sammy" Kershaw, a Republican from Lafayette

Melanie J. McKnight, a Republican from Baton Rouge

Roger Villere, a Republican from Metairie

Several other regional offices are being sought, along with local elections in parishes across the state. We'll keep you updated as results come in.
