John Noble talks 'Fringe' and 'Idol'
HOLLYWOOD, CA (FOX44) – "Fringe" star John Noble has been an “American Idol” super-fan for years. So he jumped at the chance to take a break from his FOX show to see the Idol contestants perform live.
Noble says: "Television is fantastic cause it will give you that close up and let you in on the emotion, but to get the vista behind it and to get all those musicians and the 6-piece brass came on the drummers it was amazing entertainment, my enthusiasm is genuine.”
Noble says: “"Fringe" has always catered to a specialized audience with its complex and at times mind-bending plotlines.”
Noble says: "The other day I was doing an interview and on the panel there was professor of philosophy and a professor of theoretical physics and they were there to talk about “Fringe” and how it impacts on their teaching and it affects their teaching, that's big, that's huge."
And if there was ever any doubt, noble says season four will conclude with a few surprises.
Noble says: "Now let me tell you that two of the cast members will be shot and one of them fatal, but it's “Fringe” so what does fatally mean."
