Justin Timberlake makes good on his promise
HOLLYWOOD HOOKUP (FOX44) – Justin Timberlake makes good on a promise to take a Marine to her unit's annual ball. Splash News posted a picture of the singer turned actor with Marine Corporal Kelsey De Santis in Richmond, Virginia last night. Timberlake wrote on his Facebook page that the Marine Corps Ball was one of the most moving evenings he'd ever had. De Santis posted a video on YouTube asking Timberlake to the ball. His "Friends with Benefits" co-star, Mila Kunis, also accepted an invitation to another Marine Corps Ball earlier this year.
– Meryl Streep and director Phyllida Lloyd were in London today to promote their new film on former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. After some trouble with the cord, Streep and Lloyd managed to unveil a promotional poster for their movie "The Iron Lady." The film tells the story of former British Prime Minister Thatcher, one of the most prominent and controversial figures in British politics.
– The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center celebrated its 40th anniversary last night. Celebrities like Neil Patrick Harris, Meredith Baxter and Chaz Bono attended the benefit gala and auction. Actor Leslie Jordan hosted the event, which also featured Jane Lynch. Proceeds from the dinner and auction are set to benefit the center.
