HOLLYWOOD, CA (FOX44) – It's been 30-years since two of the biggest heavy rock bands in the world have shared one stage. Motley Crue and Kiss members say they are going to give fans what they want this summer in "The Tour".
Simply being called "The Tour", Kiss and Motley Crue are co-headlining what they promise will be the biggest and baddest rock show this summer.
Vince Neil says: "This isn't a family picnic. This is bombastic you know this is the giant circus that we're going to blow up every single night you know."
Paul Stanley says: "There's nothing else out there that comes close to these bands. You know we understand we are entertainers. We understand that we're out there to give everybody a hundred percent and this is the big pay back. You buy the ticket we bring the candy."
The double bill marks the first time the bands have shared a stage since Motley Crue opened 5-shows for Kiss back in 1982. They say fans won't be disappointed.
Neil says: "No one's going to hold back at all and no one says awe you can't do this and you can't do that. Everyone's going to do everything they want to do on stage and fans are just going to love it and we're going to love it. I mean I’ll be out there watching Kiss every night."
Nikki Sixx says: "The amount of songs these 2-bands have, you think about 3-hours of hit singles, you don't get that. You don't get that with these new bands. You get 2-songs. You get you know they don't really put on the full show. You're getting the whole deal and that's what I’m really excited for. To hear all these songs."
"The Tour" kicks off July 20th in Virginia, with a new Kiss album due out in June.
