Leonardo Dicaprio is king of the big screen
HOLLYWOOD HOOKUP (FOX44) – Leonardo Dicaprio is the king of the big screen, raking in 77-million dollars last year from his flicks “Inception” and “Shutter Island”. All that dough earns him the top spot on Forbes Magazine's highest earning actors list. Dicaprio dethroned Johnny Depp as last year's number one actor, who earned a cool 50-million in 2010. Rounding out the top five was Adam Sandler, Will Smith, and Tom Hanks.
– Vanity Fair's best dressed list is out too and on it Kate Middleton made the list, for her mix of high and low fashion. The Obama’s are also get credit, Vanity Fair named President Barack Obama and the First Lady on the best dressed couples list for the first time. First Lady Michelle Obama has been on the best-dressed ladies list for the past 4-years. Also, NBC's own Brian Williams gets a special honor joining Vanity Fair's best-dressed list hall of fame. Also on the list are actors Justin Timberlake and Colin Firth, as well as singer Lady GaGa.
– Charlie Sheen has dropped a lawsuit against a woman who locked herself in his hotel bathroom. He says she stole a $165,000 watch and she says he assaulted her. Sheen sued her for extortion in November. Court records show his request to dismiss the suit was granted without prejudice. So sheen could re-file the suit whenever he wants.
– Kelly Clarkson is solo no more; the first ever American Idol winner has formed an all girl band called "Already Famous". This year is proving to be a good year for American Idol. The show saw its ratings, vote totals, and music sales all go up and now the live tour is singing the same tune. The tour sold out 8-concerts since the tour started last month.
